Pine sits on the west side of the lodge, where the stand is oldest. The window wall is the whole point — you wake to bark and needle, not a view framed as a postcard. Linen from a mill in Maine. A chair you will actually sit in.

Loft is the quieter of the high rooms. The roof pitches low enough that weather is a sound, not a rumor. A skylight over the bed. One window onto granite. We left the beams raw.

Creek is a short walk from the main house, down a path of crushed granite. The fork is loud in June and polite by September. A hearth that takes the chill off at 7,800 feet. Sleeps two well, three if someone likes the daybed.
